A bit of News...

so, in case you were wondering...Check out my new widget. :-) As if we didn't already have enough on our plate, we're going to throw something new into the mix.

Seriously, as I've listened, first to the General RS meeting and then again this weekend, I have a calm that what we're doing is right. I still don't know how, but that's never concerned Heavenly Father before. Everything will work out, it always does. This may not be the path for someone else, but I know it's the right path for our family. Have fun watching the widget grow!

Oh, I wanted to tell you that my favorite favorite talk was by Sister Beck (?), Relief Society President. It's been such a struggle working in Salt Lake. There is a very different attitude for working mothers than I felt working at the bank. I feel like I'm having to defend my decision to want to try and stay home, and even Hikari has been asked about it. I guess if I really wanted to pursue a "working career" I could be very successful, but that's not what I want to pursue. It was so nice to be reminded about our divine rolls as Mothers and the important difference we can make in raising the next generation. It was such a comfort to have my desires to be at home validated by someone in such a wonderful position. It makes me so grateful for the opportunity to be a mother.

Congratulations ;)! Glad it's you and not me. I guess that's what happens when you laugh at other friends when they find out they're expecting ;). Just giving you a hard time :). You are a very strong person, with a lot of faith. You guys are going to be just fine.
